Champ Select stores minimal data exclusively in your browser's localStorage:

• Game state for each daily grid (your guesses and progress)
• Streak data (dates you completed the daily grid, last 7 days only)
• First-visit flag (to show the tutorial once)
• Cookie consent preference (your choice to accept or reject ad cookies)

We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII). No accounts, no emails, no passwords, no tracking IDs. The site is fully functional without any cookies.

Cookies & Advertising

Champ Select may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. If you accept cookies via the cookie consent banner, Google may use cookies to serve personalised ads based on your browsing history. If you reject cookies, ads will be served in non-personalised mode.

You can change your cookie preference at any time using the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer. You can also opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ad Settings.

Even in non-personalised mode, Google may still use cookies for frequency capping, aggregated ad reporting, and combating fraud and abuse.

The only cookies set on this site come from Google AdSense when you consent to them. Champ Select itself uses localStorage (not cookies) for all game functionality.

Third-Party Services

Champion icons and data are loaded from Riot Games' Data Dragon CDN. Riot Games' own privacy policy applies to data transferred through their CDN.

Data Retention

All game data is stored locally in your browser. Clearing your browser's localStorage will remove all Champ Select data. No game data is sent to or stored on our servers.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data (all data is in your browser's localStorage)
• Rectify or delete your data (clear your browser's localStorage)
• Withdraw consent for ad cookies (use the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer)

Our legal basis for processing is legitimate interest for core game functionality and consent for advertising cookies. Since all data is stored locally in your browser, you have full control over it at all times.

California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and to request its deletion. Champ Select does not sell personal information to third parties. All data is stored locally in your browser and is not transmitted to our servers.
